I've been running Puppy v2.01 with no major problems at home on on my work laptop for about a month. But I've hit a brick wall trying to get the JRE working.
I downloaded the latest linux rpm from sun (jre-1_5_0_06-linux-i586-rpm.bin) and installed following the instructions on sun's site. It all looks OK, but just doesn't work., either as a plugin with firefox or to run jnlp iles.
I expect there's some config that needs to be done. I've tried searching this forum and the web but can't find any advice for this problem.
