NetSurf 3.7

#1 Post by OscarTalks »

NetSurf browser version 3.7 is now released.
I compiled it in Dpup Stretch and also in Wheezy (which should work in several other Puppies - glibc 2.13 or later). One thing I notice is that the Local History window has no border, not sure why. Otherwise it looks OK but remember it is only a small and light browser with limited features.
Edit:- Added a version compiled in Lucid. Treat all packages as EXPERIMENTAL.

Thanks, Oscar. Nice work, as always.

Wheezy version works fine in Puli - much better than its predecessors.
For example, the annoying bug (black chars on dark grey background) fixed.

Have fun!

Thanks OscarTalks

Any chance of a pet-build for Netsurf?

Hi peebee,

I have never tried to create a petbuild so I would have to study that and see if I can figure it out. I have built a few packages using petbuilds in the past but usually I just poke around in things manually and try to work out the steps that are needed.

AlienBob's 32-bit Slackware-14.2 build installs and runs without problem in both LxPupSc and ArtfulPup....

http://www.slackware.com/~alien/slackbu ... /pkg/14.2/

he also has a 64-bit build (untested):
