U light (Mozilla) default browser Bionic

#1 Post by hamoudoudou »

U light (Mozilla) need apulse for YouTube
OscarTalks further information
Topic created in category 'Browsers' as U-Light seems to be popular by its light size. Of course if audio was bad, few MBs will not satisfy people used to You Tube, if songs or videos were garbled.
Tested with Triton, based on tahrpup 6.0.5. No trouble

Many people seem to download the gtk-3 version of Light by mistake. Light-47 and 46 gtk2 are more reliable in most puppies and don't require apulse from what I remember. I haven't tried this one in Zesty yet but feel free to give it a shot in that OS:

Kill two birds with one stone : taste Zesty and try U-Light
Zesty includes U-light as default browser. Apulse 37k is provided top of page.. You need it with Zesty.. PeeBee would like to know if he did a good try with U-light, i suppose.

Thank you for these links! But it is an old browser apparently, last update in 2016. I will still try it.

PS: you need to work a bit on your english, it's really hard to understand what you say here.
Main puppy used : LxPup tahr.

French is much easier

I am working my Linux. English needs years of learning to get a good level. French is much easier. :) Even developers don't write here. I prefer to write here and give further explanations if my English not understood.

Browser add-on may be best route to success.
Since based on Firefox 49, there should be a few choices.
