qandora

qandora is not your standard light Puppy or Dog app, but Dog-based OS can do a module out of it, and load the resulting qandora.squashfs file when needed.

It needs VLC as a streaming backend, Qt libraries and Python.

Installation is easy :

Clicking above link will download a deb file.

Launch qAndora.desktop or run qAndora in terminal.

robwoj44 and labbe5 suggest lot of applications, they work or they don't work.
At least test them, to get Puppy Linux media-players available and tested. Some are nice. No CD to burn, no time wasted, just 5 minutes.
