Saluki/Carolina Control Panel details? (Solved)

#1 Post by battleshooter »

Hey guys,

What exactly is the Control Panel used in Saluki and Carolina?

Is it just the regular Xfce 4 Settings Manager modified, or did Jemimah write it herself? Is there a source code floating around somewhere if that's the case?

I like the clean organization of it, declutters the menu by putting settings all in one place.

Thanks in advance :)

Hi battleshooter,

I'm pretty sure it's a modified xfce4-appfinder. Not sure where her source code would be, doesn't seem to be at smokey01.com/saluki. Maybe Geoffrey would know.

Ahh ok, thanks Rg. Geoff said the same as well but that there is no source.

I'm using XenialPup64 so needed a recompiling option, I'll work something out, the hint helps though so thanks!

Oh that's perfect! :D

Many thanks Geoff!

I did a quick compile and it works brilliantly. I just have to set up the menus to display all the settings, not just XFCE. (For testing purposes I just grabbed the XFCE Setting .menu)
