And to finish it off:
A hymn I remember from Sunday School:

"'Now the day is over"

There must be some night songs somewhere.

Peter Tork RIP

From Ray Davies " The Kinks " page.

http://kindakinks.net/news-rumors.php

with a link to Billboard.

That says more than anything that Ray thinks Peter Tork
was more than a lightweight in music.

https://www.billboard.com/articles/colu ... best-songs

Personally I liked this from 2016

Wasn't Born to Follow....said it all really.

Hi, all.

Here is a short excerpt from kjartan's (aka LimboMusic) "Eeeeeeasy" piece
that I made into a short opening sequence in fade-out for when your Pup
gets to the desktop. (First page of this thread, 7th post or thereabouts:
http://helledussen.com/mp3/Limbomusic/G ... eeeasy.mp3)

Here is the script that you put in /root/desktop to play it:

Code: Select all

#!/bin/ash
# ~/Startup/zz-Eeeeeeasy.sh
# Credits: Thanks to Puppy forum member kjartan.
####
sleep 3s
[ -f ~/Startup/not-easy ] || pdmp3 /usr/share/audio/Kjartan-Eeeeeeasy-excerpt2.mp3
# Translation in human words :
# if the startup^is not easy, do not play kjartan's piece!
You'll also need technosaurus' pdmp3 (also attached).

I'll put it all in a pet when I have a minute.

Thanks to LimboMusic and technosaurus for their talent and generosity!
Because of them now we have a "completely Puppy" sound intro!

Version of songs we are so used to listen that we think that are the original, but really the original it's from the 60's, 70's from unknown artists.

Example: Most young people think that 'Knocking on heavens door' is from Guns'nRoses but it's from Bob Dylan. or

Rod Stewart's 'Some guys have all the luck (1984)' , first performed by The Persuader's (1973)

and so on...

Ah, I see.
We have different singers/songwriters up here, so I wouldn't have noticed.
But thanks, Galbi.

With her accent and her nasal voice, I hardly understand a word.
Are there lyrics available?

BTW, what accent is that?
Not Australian, not New Yorker, not Ottawa Valley,
not British, that much I can tell.
TIA.

I think she's from California. Seems like some sort of part Latino/Mexican version of Avril Lavigne?? Same pro-skater background.

Haha, haven't heard of Steam Powered Giraffe before - unique! The next vid that popped up after Honeybee was an SPG cover of Rihanna's "Diamonds".

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tU-VJOzb-10
That guy has an amazing vocal range. (second half of Diamonds shows it off better than first half)
