I see that you use htop

press the f6 button and select MEM%

this will give clue to culprit. Chances are its FireFox

I notice you are using Tahrpup 6.0
That version is real buggy unless it has been updated.

Need to update with Quickpet->Info->Tahrpup bug fixes or updates.

And keep updating until it gets everything.
Reboot.
Than run PPM so it offers the service packs.
After all the service packs install, reboot.

This should get it to Tahrpup version 6.0.5

Better would be to install a fresh frugal of Tahrpup 6.0.6.
Use the Tahrpup 6.0 save with it.
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected
YaPI(any iso installer)

pressing f6 doesn t do anything in thar6 or in x slacko:(
what to do?

in my history

nowhere i clould go really over 50% of ram indicator

can u use ur pupies so that it starts to frize at end of ram indicator and not
at60%???

the update in described way as i remeber goes only to service pck2

or max 3 sometimes

but this hasn t changed my ram indicator50% game
i would see because i always have too many tabs open;)

with which instrument sfs pet? i can really measure out my ram use??

thank u very for helping

u think my laptop doesn t offer all ram to puppy?

Are you running with or without a savefile/folder? If not, it's probably your browser cache filling your memory.

Try running "top" from the command line before checking if one of your ram sticks is bad.

Unfortunately your screen dump did not tell me which browser you are using. As per Sailor Enceladus' post, try running "top" from the commandline also type "free" to get details of your memory.

I suspect your browser is accumulating memory. Try restarting your browser from time to time. Limit the cache size or duration if your browser allows it.

If you have a magnetic hard drive (not SSD/Flash) consider making a swap partition.

i still couldn messarue this with differet possibilities
u all friedly told me
soory for that
i am using firefox mainly

i thought if i have 2 gigaram then the laptop will start to freeze

when i reach lets say 1,9 giga

measered by ram indicators

but definitly it starts earlier like 1.3 giga and final end frozen maybe 1.6

never possible reach 1.9

saw my ram indicator until 1.7sometimes
already very frozen after 1.2

---->aaactaully if my ram indicator shows 50% that is 1 giga then i should start
to close stuff otherwise will get laptop slower
is this normal?????

but never saw my indicator at 1.9 that means at maximum range
and the visible proportional range of indicator always corresponded with
other measurig methods

but haven studied that so much

maybe is not generally possible use laptop until 1.9 or full ram????
so all ok???

very lookinggg for ur answers
ps
my laptop has 2 giga ram
ps:
preesing f6 nothing happens i slacko64:((
hammering top in terminal SEEMS bbbest THANK UUUUUU
SAILOR and also thank to others
so seems i geeting real fast out of memory?
why htop which is istalled in every puppy shows wrong??

maybe u can help me also i this questions:
