Hello Puppy Fans and Users! Spent sometime trying various Google earth sqs and debs, and found this one to work the best so far! For this 64 bit system, (google-earth-stable_current_i386.deb) https://www.google.com/earth/download/ge/agree.html >done it for me.

Thanks for another great helpful Linux community!!!

Just to add, Clementine (clementine_1.3.1-xenial_i386.deb) also was running, although I seem to have broke something working with G.E.

UPDATE: I seem to have been running something else along with google earth and Clementine, now neither starting up at from menu! Maybe i spoke too soon, hehe..As i really thought this google earth at least was running with minimal install problem, now its a startup issue again! Sorry must have been running a dev.sqs are something else in background that wasnt deleted.

Not sure if i only needed the google earth .deb from Google earth site for it to work alone, but I also loaded the a google_earth-6.2.2 in combination with the official google earth stable current i386(42mb)...Also running (32bit_compatibility_libs_xenial64.sfs) ...Works with panaramio pictures, i dont really link it to google maps, or any other network stuff.

, LXpup Xenial passenger. My kernel is 4.5.2.

Thx Pelo! The google earth was working, and I still had only minor problems from what i could remember with Panaramio. its been a while, but in the end I may have hit the correct libs for it. I think it was resolved somehow. Now am using a new flashdrive 64gb running lubuntu with persistence. It was a good experience getting familiar with some of the puppy linux, awesome tool for an amature like myself to play with! It has definetely added to my interest in Linux as I'm so glad we can survive now without windows, Now if only I could persuade others, hehe :)

Google Earth for XenialPup64

Hi Billtoo,

Thanks for posting the information which led me to wonder if the 64-bit version for Slacko64-14.2 would also function under XenialPup64. I haven't tested it much, but it does load, open, and appears to be functional.

Those interested can find google-earth-pro-7.1.8.3036_x86_64.sfs here: http://distro.ibiblio.org/puppylinux/pe ... cko6414.2/

It creates a menu entry on the Network Submenu.
