When I had XP, the best I could get it down to is 1.7GB after uninstalling all MS software. I have heard of Micro XP and Tiny XP but never tried them. I heard Tiny was 300MB. When I installed Windows 98SE it was only around 200-250MB normal.

XP Pro SP3 install ISO is about 570MB. These XP Tiny and Micro versions are unofficial cut down versions where components like internet explorer, messaging, etc are removed. I wouldn't bother with it, the official releases are small enough.

it started i half time of my other xp i think i havent seen such rocket start in my all life

see now explorer not conectig to internet but hat would be ok if shared folders

i saw also tiny win7 somewhere written yesterday

what i experieced is that to install drivers for laptops even on official versions is always the biggest even for experts problem:(((

therefore puppy is better there every thing works
if not u try next one untill one works:))

have 2 questions:

1) on tiny win7 all programs really runnuing or at least better than on old xp?



2) is there any such win7 or micro xp where all drivers in automat install?
anddd if such tiny win can be installed parallel to existing windows7 easly like puppy with lick or pup.exe

i mean if there is such tinywin somewhere safe to download and install
