As the title suggests, would there be anyone interested here on Murga in a 'barebones' Quirky 8.1.5 creation/release from Barry K?

A creation that would come with nothing except the PPM (Puppy Package Manager), and thus you would have to choose what you want in your Quirky and only what you want? Think of it---are you tired of re-mastering, or as a novice user, unsure of re-mastering? Like especially wondering if you (or PPM) actually removed everything that was needed (or you wanted) to be removed???

If so, please post here and also post here http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?p=938159#938159 Linuxcbon came up with the request to Barry K, I seconded it wholeheartedly.

I think a lot of people would enjoy this immensely, possibly even love it. To have a complete Barry K creation that is 'barebones only with the PPM', to let us build up Quirky how we would like it, would be like having your cake and eating it too.

To me, the idea is theee "idea' of 2017.

Let's convince Barry!! Very Happy Wink

Hi all !
Find the idea nice and helpful ........i even think that this should be done with each "Puppy " ........one bare-bone version and one "normal " .
As a general Standard .... so to say .

Greetings !

I'd like to try one. It might let me build my perfect pup( not sure what that is yet) but if you can load and unload pets it would allow even those with limited knowledge to experiment.

Ken.
