Been a booster of Puppy Linux since 2005. Had a hard time keeping in touch due to problems with forgetting my password, but I am honored that my comment about Puppy 5.2.8 was/is preserved on this page:

Lucid Puppy (Ubuntu-Compatible Build)

"Anyone NOT having used Puppy 5.2.8 Lucid is missing THE Linux to go to for first-time and long-term users." - From the Forum

It seems the Wiki page could use some updates as their have been further updates. There are 2016 updates of lucid (see [thread).

On another thread we as an update to Wary for older machines lucid and precise retro were the two suggestions
Illutorium wrote: Because that's Max Supported size are be 1GB - that's not choise: Only "Retro" as precise. (Tahr will be pass only for Modern PC's as PAE from My build.) or Try with "Revitalized Lucid Puppy" as a "s243a" will be propose anyway'

When perfectly for a Desktop it's:

1. Lucid Puppy Revitalized [lupusuper2],Same as Precise but less depends libraries.
2. Precise Retro

I still run LupuPlus 5.2.8.005-1 from a live CD, with some small mods.
Absolutely perfect! :D
