For any murga users/visitors with Iphones-----

#1 Post by belham2 »

Thought those of you who have Iphones would find these two very recent articles about Iphones IOS 10 illuminating:

http://www.securityweek.com/all-your-im ... long-apple

http://www.securityweek.com/ios-10s-saf ... ng-private

All us worldwide denizens are just going to have to give this up at some point----there is no longer, and never again, will be privacy (at least as we used to know it). Darn technology, as wonderful as it is, has infiltrated our lives too deeply now. Removing it would be like taking out an organ and/or removing some brain-matter.

There you go, edited the URL for you.
Edit: Wait, was it meant to be a secret URL? not for public eye? Private browsing only?
Sorry to leak it to the world.

Somewhere deep down this sort of thing scares me......I keep thinking about if I was sitting in some silo undergorund, heavens knows where, and I (along with my bunkerhole companions) were just supposed to be "testing" systems, yet somehow I entered a string of code, and an apostrophe was missing, and the system immediately locked themselves out and began irreversal launch countdown.

I mean, holy spitting crap

That would make a nice thriller story.

Anyway, back on subject, does disabling suspend mode removes that database of private browsing data?
Is it even possible to disable?

I don't have any iDevice, so no experience with it.

That first URL does use some curious phrasing...

All your contacts are belong to Apple.

...reminiscent of the famed meme.

I don't see myself ever getting a smartphone. Even my flip phone was getting too annoying. Pretty sure keeping cell phone in your pocket gives you leg cancer if you're around metal a lot, and gives you ear and brain cancer if you hold it too close often.
