Hello all.

I have edited my OP to reflect the new repository for this "Puduan-6 wmx" at augras' ftp
site. You can now download Puduan-6.0.0-wmx-alpha1a and its devx from:
http://augras.eu/puppy_linux/?dir=mushe ... an-6.0_wmx

Hi ally & all.

It was not a bad link, it was a bad permission on the iso file.

Member augras was kind enough to change it to "world" at his end.

So the problem is solved, this iso is downloadable again from somewhere
else than archive.org! ;)

You are an idiot, anikin will never be interested in Puduan/Jessie Puppy. Do not put words in my mouth.

Only a link to your topic..here Puppy Linux lovers don't want to run anything else than puppy. Created for speed, pupsave, and no hardrive needed.

If anikin never interested by Puppy, anikin is happy to develop in Puppy Forum

Clearly Pelo/Lionel whatever you want to call yourself next quite clearly you live in a different world to everybody else - no where has Anikin said he is interested Puduan Pup.

This yet another case of you 1. polluting a thread for your own amusement.
2. Saying stuff about people often insulting that is not true. Someone said once that you were a spammer and it is true most of your post especially lately add nothing to the topic and are just useless spam - you should be banned.

is there a Puppy in-the-works built upon it?

With the long-delayed release of DEVUAN (the Debian alternative) Beta 1.0 named Jessie https://devuan.org/ is there a Puppy in-the-works built upon it?
that is the subject of the topic where anikin has answered

Revisiting Puduan-6.0!

Thanks to darry for the little push! Wink
Well to be honest Musher I'm still using JWM version but yeah this probably my favourite go to Pup and once I fixed a few little things she runs really well. You did such a great job with it.

Devuan was a great base for Puppy - wish it was still in CE.

Hi, darry19662018.

Isn't it still possible ?

Where do the woof-CE guys store the obsoleted woof-CE recipes? Does ally have a
copy at Archive.org/Puppy?

I think I still have the woof-ce "master" for the Puduan 6.0. Hopefully Sailor Enceladus
would have the recipe for Puduan 7. Maybe we can work out something.

That would be great Puduan has a lot potential especially as Devuan is no longer considered a joke and number of respins and distros are derived from it like miro-linux.

So a version 7 would be good.

Hi darren.

Sailor Enceladus' work on Puduan-7 derived from Devuan Ascii is in this thread and
this is his latest build of it.

In that message he also says that he's returning to Debian builds.

If ally did not archive Sailor's Puduan-7 at Archive.org, I have a copy on this box
that I could make available at augras' Puppy repo in Limoges, France. However,
I do not know which of his builds my copy is.

TWYL

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
P.S., 15 minutes later:
His repo is still accessible, fortunately.
Sailor E. has a "b3" directory in this pcloud repo that contains his latest build,
marked "6572". The date of this dir is in sync with his last message about it,
which I mentioned above.
So I suppose that that could be a starting point for anyone interested in
remastering a Puduan7.
Although it might be good to have a look at his previous renditions, just in
case. I have now downloaded all his versions of Puduan7, I think (unless he has
uploaded some others elsewhere).
