Unless you identify the problems, no one can help you.

Try Slacko 6.3.2 32-bit on it (top iso): http://slacko.eezy.xyz/download.php It's got a classic 3.14 kernel like you have in Tahr

Hi, olderndumber.

TBH, with those specs:-

http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Bobcat/AMD-C%20Series%20C-50%20-%20CMC50AFPB22GT.html

.....you should have no problems running Slacko64 whatsoever; I run it myself on an Athlon64 X2 3800+.....a very much older, lower-spec 'gas-guzzler'.....and it runs fine.

I agree with rcrsn51; we need rather more in the way of specific info, so we can then target the advice more accurately. You have to remember; you're our 'eyes & ears' as far as this goes; we're not there with you, looking over your shoulder..!

Can you describe the 'problem' in more detail? BTW, are you running 32-bit Tahr, or 64-bit Tahr?

Over to you.....

Mike. Wink

Thanks for the response. Evidently I am living up to my name.
Don't know exactly how I did it but I must have posted twice and used the other post for help. Anyway, I was booting from USB and finally found the thumb drive to be bad.

Thanks for the replies and offers to help, I do appreciate it.
