edit 07-20 I goofed on /etc/DISTRO_SPECS in the pet. Line 12 should read DISTRO_COMPAT_VERSION='14.2'
07-23 deleted attachment - see next post

updated claws-mail and its dependencies and moved it to 5_JL64-700.sfs (needs reuploaded if delta is applied)
Delta patch (14M) incorporates ppm/slaptget pet and change to initrd.xz to accommodate
new 32bit lib sfs and
new wine sfs (now separate from 32bit libs) available as separate downloads @ gdrive (see OP)
also rdesktop xz package @ repo
new generated iso:

salix for gslapt |
|
To enable salix repo for gslapt, add
Code: | http://slackware.uk/salix/x86_64/14.2/ | to /etc/slapt-get/slapt-getrc. Salix contains dependencies which will automatically download & install with selection. In some cases, this can be a double-edged sword, so use with caution (check /var/log/packages).

f8bbffc5a7ac29fc94f9b45609a9e0b2 mate-1.14.1-x86_64-3.sfs
If running with mate, below attachment will prevent fixmenus/sfs_load from calling up lxpanel (otherwise, hit bottom right icon - 'Refresh Desktop". Also in pet is xfce powermanager edited to not load under Mate.
A build note: while mate was constructed with msb packages, this build is more like the salix version which used matepanel-14.0 instead of 14.1/2. The panel upgrade will break puppy (requires full gtk+3 environment) if you get it to work and mate if you don't. Always take care with gslapt, and don't select "upgrade all". Despite what some may say, JL64 is architecturally puppy, not Slackware.

Just downloaded it......have one question:
Is this thing still considered in the Puppy-linux land? 412 MB download just for the ISO???
Holy crap>>>>> Thought I was downloading a full distro of some linux by mistake. Puppies keep heading in this direction, how are they different from the full distros running out there like Peppermint OS, MX/Anti-x/ or even full mini versions of Debian and Ubuntu that are popping up that have brought themselves down into the 500-700MB range?? At the risk of getting sounding Pelo-like (just joking ya, Pelo ), when a puppy iso download breaches 500MB+, imho, we've completely lost sight of the forest for the trees. Then, we are no longer puppies, or even dogs; we've become warthogs....haha (I think I'm haha-ing )
Thanks, DryFalls, will give this a go and report back off one of my netbooks assuming it survives the install.

LightHouse is still one of the best pups out there! Thanks to your continued work on it, Dry Falls, it is now even better!
The 6.4.3 kernel is working great.
I really like the desktop layout, and the tray/notifictions is ery comprehensive and functional.
I have had a bit of trouble connecting to wifi, using pwireless and my own wifi-connect (frisbee is a non-starter!). But that could be down to my 'environment'.
I have a multitouch tocpad and 3 finger touch is set to right click, works fine. Touch screen is workig good, as usual. I would like to get gestures working, namely pinch to zoom/shrink for web/photos. Scrolling web pages is the opposite of Windows scrolling. In puppy we move the bar down, in windows we move the page down. I am using Windows 10 as well, because it's on my new Lenovo Flex-2 15 pro i7 touch ultrabook. The Broadcom wifi card seems not to be supported. I might have to actually write in ndiswrapper to wifi-connect.
The iso is packed with essential extras! Great that no additional downloads are necessary!
t's great to have variety and choice, in puppyland!
Cheers!

Hi @Belham.
In terms of the difference you ask about I hope this explanation sets well with you:
This distro is same in options for operations as most/all other PUPs. that is you can run Live DVD or Frugal USB. It bring an additional "SUPPORTED" option for a "FULL" installation. What sets PUPs apart from most all other distros is the combination of running in RAM with an visible option at shutdown to save all of your work. Further, on booting, additional PUP options exist for reverting to pristine boots as well as the same/similar boot options available at system start time. But, I am sure you already know this ability.
On its size: @TaZoC the original author envisioned a PUP that is an OOTB Linux version of most every subsystem found in a Mac/Windows PC. As you know, the LigthHouse series and Just-Lighthouse series distros are considerably smaller ISOs than options found elsewhere, while in this specific distro, functionality attempts to be equivalent/greater to those.
The current author, though not following the exact path of the original, has done a magnificent job in how he now envisions to package his work as he carry-on the work of the original fallen hero.
The size of an ISO is NO reflection of the value of the work that one has when the boot system opens to the desktop. It use of RAM to deliver subsystem services match what is found in most every PUP.
This is just a few thoughts that might be helpful.
@Dry Falls and others:
Anyone notice that in FirstRUN there is an video Update button? I cannot get it to work to select an nVidea offered solution for my 250 card.
Also, be aware that smbclient is not available so that searches of other LAN PCs for available resources can be an issue if you are accustomed to its services and use. Hope this is helpful info
