Dear Icake, May be its only me? I have 2GB save file frugal install. Viewer is ok before the PET install. Uninstall would not help.

I did a quick look at the issue and here are my findings:

1.after installing half-Chinese pet fcitx_4.2.7-en-zh-precise-12.1.0.pet to slacko 6.3.0, the pdf viewer, evince version 2.23 cannot run because certain lib files changed by the half-Chinese pet affects evince and made it crash.

2. if you install half-Chinese pet scim_1.4.9-en-zh-precise-12.1.0.pet to slacko 6.3.0, evince version 2.23 can still open pdf files

My suggested solutions to the issue are:

3. use the other half-Chinese pet scim_1.4.9-en-zh-precise-12.1.0.pet for slacko 6.3.0

4. if you have to use half-Chinese pet fcitx_4.2.7-en-zh-precise-12.1.0.pet for slacko 6.3.0, you have to use some other pdf viewer. I have tested and confirmed that foxitreader can work after applying half-Chinese pet fcitx_4.2.7-en-zh-precise-12.1.0.pet to slacko 6.3.0. You can download and install foxitreader-1.1.0-20090810-cjk.pet (3.6 mb) here:

got ePDF viewer which is ok, i will maintain the fcitx, thanks for quick action.. fromKuala Lumpur
