[CLOSED]

I'm investigating running Midori-0.5.11 with webkitgtk 2.4.10 on LxPupSc (Slackware 14.2-RC2 based).

It's basically working (21.4MB sfs) but has a strange display problem - big thick black boxes around some web artefacts.

Done lots of web searches and been unable to find a fix - also tried a number of different GTK2+ themes but they are all the same.

Just wondering if anybody knows the answer?

Thanks
PeeBee

p.s. this on my desktop with nvidia graphics....

Webkit in Linux is unmaintained and a security risk.

What is your reason? Firefox bloat?

Ok - thanks for the insight.

Yes - just seeing what was available a bit smaller....

I'll mark this thread [CLOSED]
