Subject description: Brave will pay you to see ads with its ad-blocking browser

https://github.com/brave/browser-laptop/blob/master/docs/linuxInstall.md

Above is the Linux Install Instruction : 64-bit deb files for Debian (Debiandog64) and Ubuntu (any 64bit-capable Puppy).

Another browser when there is a lot of them already? First reaction. But after reading what's all about it, i think the launch of the Brave browser by former Mozilla CEO Brendan Eich is just what the Web needs to keep free content available, because it wants to pay the user to watch ads : a 15% cut on bitcoin wallets. Each user will have micro-payments, or can donate that money to the site of their choice.

This concept of paying to see ads is in reaction to a trend in blocking ads with adblockers, with the result of compromising free content.

It is respectful of privacy, and at the same time it tries to help sites that struggle to keep free content available to all.
