What is a .pfs file?
Basically, it's just another file extension for squashfs file format, like .sfs in Puppy or .xzm in Porteus. Why pfs? Because they merged pet & sfs into a single file format. You can un/pack/edit pfs the same way as sfs, (use sfs edit), but PRA has better tools for that. This has already been explained earlier in this thread http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic. ... 123#898123

Much better now, but still some mixed, or Russian dialogs and gui in JWM/Rox.
edit
The shutdown menu - one of the most important dialogs is still in Russian.

No, but I gave my old drum kit away for free to a music store collecting instruments for refugees!

@Pro, no changes - same old module.
Took a closer look ... and there's a *huge* amount of translating work that needs to be done to make PRA usable outside Russia. These incremental translating efforts can be quite harmful to the cause. I'm afraid, people will just get tired, frustrated and lose any interest in this whole project. For example, usr/local/bin contains nearly 466 scripts and I think, they are all in Russian. Rox "open with" directory has 197 sub-directories and one of those has 9 items, as shown in a pic attached below - they are in Russian. There's one more aspect, IMHO is in need of a discussion - startup services. There's a lot of bloat and irrelevant stuff there. All these useless pop-up windows. Automatic software updates, in my book is absolutely not acceptable, as well as audio test of users computers.
I apologize for being stubborn, but here's the thing.
To make this project manageable and attractive to users it *has to be minimalistic*.
Make it puppy-like - Rox/JWM.
Ditch sudo - make it a single user distro.
We are puppians, we Fear Not Root.

PeasyGlue
Very good, Pro
Очень хорошо
Can you please, include PeasyGlue in PRA? A must have tool for posting forum images.

Thank you in advance.
edit
Can you guys start the translation from initrd?
That's the first thing the user sees. Shouldn't be a problem - just put back the original text and PRA will shine from the get go
