xvidcap config

#1 Post by pp4mnklinux »

Hi everybody:

Can you help me to configure xvidcap to start with the options bar always above?

I know how to configure it once I started it, but I want it to start with the above option enabled

THANKS A LOT FOR YOUR HELP

How about: xvidcap --gui yes

Should this be suitable, edit its desktop file to reflect the change.

Oh, you want this *above* other windows.. Hold on..

Ah, yes. As previously mentioned, you can pull this off with wmctrl.

Two scripts.. One to call XVidCap and one to "On-The-Fly" adjust its window properties.

When you don't understand what's been presented, speak up! It's a common law of communication.

You can start by letting me know  whether the first part of my post is suitable.
