How to use a Brother DCP-J140W printer?

Hello, I know that this topic is addressed in the forum. The problem is that I find the help I've read so far too confusing. What I am looking for is a step by step and relatively idiot proof guide. I am using the most up to date version of puppy linux, running on a panasonic toughbook cf-28. Thanks in advance for your patience and your assistance. Scott
