With reference to above subject matter, I just start using the linux ie puppy linux Slacko v6.0.3 version where the gnumeric installed version 1.10.17.
I download latest version Gnumeric 1.12.27.tar.xz file but as new user I am not able to insalled this version but for other package such as image editing software or openoffice i found .sfs file which directly installed in my puppy linux.
So it is my humble request please provide me the .sfs file for gnumeric latest version Gnumeric 1.12.27.sfs, so that I can directly installed latest version on my puppy linux.

I had a look at it, Its a GTK3 app, you would have to install a GTK3 backend to run that version. Really most wouldn't compile gtk3, glib etc just to run Gnumeric.
