Thank you for this nice pupplet.
Running on Acer Aspire One AAO netbook, I like it very much.
I cannot set up date and time and it is a major drag for HTPPS certificates.
I downloaded JWM to try to work around this problem, but how can I switch WM ?
Also how do I configure it to set date and time via web ? (internal clock battery dead).
Cheers ! E Z Tuxer

Don't poop it down... Pup it Up !
I'm giving this pup a run. The first thing I do after booting is open FireFox (that I've saved from another pup) and it fills the whole screen. I can't figure out how to reduce its size so there is some blank space on the screen for another window. With this windowing system I can't seem to "pick up" a corner of the Firefox window and slide it inwards to reduce its size. How to achieve this
Thanks.
Thanks.
I'd do this by moving the window after pressing ALT + F7 your mouse pointer changes into what I call a wind rose -- you can move that window by mouse/touchpad or cursor keys then, so you can reach the outer bordersShep wrote:I'm giving this pup a run. Shep, right-click the Firefox icon in Lxpanel and select Maximize, this should make the window fit the screen
Re: firefox
I don't think I have a Firefox icon anywhere. Besides, I'm not wanting to maximize it. It's already maximized, I want to reduce the real estate that Firefox occupies.josejp2424 wrote: Shep, right-click the Firefox icon in Lxpanel and select Maximize, this should make the window fit the screen
Thanks for the ideas. Alas, ALT + F7 achieves nothing for me, the mouse stays as an arrowhead.0xdawg wrote: I'd do this by moving the window after pressing ALT + F7 your mouse pointer changes into what I call a wind rose -- you can move that window by mouse/touchpad or cursor keys then, so you can reach the outer borders

ALT + right mouse button does the trick, changes window size.
and ALT + left mouse button allows me to reposition the window.

to test WICD and Gslapt, and surfing outdoor wireless
shiba inu launched again in my laptop, my purpose is to test WICD and Gslapt, and surfing outdoor wireless with a dongle (kernel installed 3.18.22, i don't know if drivers compiled for Realtek 8192cu).
To size shibasave 128MB Instead of 1024MB was not easy.
feed-back in Spanish here, foro ibérico.

Re: to test WICD and Gslapt, and surfing outdoor wireless
Does your rtl8192cu adapter work with the built-in driver that comes in new kernels?Pelo wrote:shiba inu launched again in my laptop, my purpose is to test WICD and Gslapt, and surfing outdoor wireless with a dongle (kernel installed 3.18.22, i don't know if drivers compiled for Realtek 8192cu).

WICD not working to day
French team is working hard to add some european languages in Virtual keyboard xvkbd version 3.7. Polish will soon be available.
I tested my own version in Shiba INU, that is perfect, but my process is something 'Bidouille', I call polish as russian, not to have to change the menu.
Spanish is OK, menu and files, included a long time ago by the japanese creator.
WICD not working to day
Frisbee does the job
Pupjibaros try to go ahead, with new apps. Congratulations to the americanos (del sur).

Hi
I did frugal install shiba inu 2.0.0, a beautiful distro working (more than) well as (my first impression) but how to add software?
I need in each installation
- hangul (Korean writing) input (or Japanese or Tamil!) and, oft course, fonts, and an text system able to handle with it
- merkaartor to cartography my town and land
- gramps to have access to my genealogic dates as I did build a tree, an unpleasant and long work so that I will not renounce to it...
I don't understand how Slackware users continue to find itself comfortable without more applications!
Kind regards

Jessie, the latina, coloured and charming
Shiba inu and Pupjibaro jessie should get better results..
Pupjibaro Jessie is the only Puppy released with Debian Jessie repository.
Don't miss the Pupjibaro stretch (beta) , but taste before, with an 'a', Jessie, the latina, coloured and charming
Sure americanos have their own repos, where jibaros are used to download.
But North Americans should give it a try. Jessie is perhaps what they have been waiting for so long.

MTpaint.exe, will capture your virtual machine at boot-up
Virtualmachine, my pupjibaro starts, but explodes as soon as arrived on desktop !!??
Screenshot by MTpaint are much easier to do even with Windows Seven.
