Is it possible to make a boot floppy disk for Puppy live CD ? That would be good for those who have old BIOS which do not permit to boot by CDROM and for me, also, as, inexplicably, my BIOS doesn't permit it any longer.
If it is possible I will be grateful is somebody gives me instructions and advices in order to prepare such boot floppy.
Best Regards,
Alberto

Try the "...Smart Boot Manager (SBM) which is an OS independent and full-featured boot manager with an easy-to-use user interface. It has all of the features needed to boot a variety of OSes from several kinds of media, while keeping its size no more than 30K bytes. In another words, SBM does NOT touch any of your partitions, it totally fits into the first track (the hidden track) of your harddisk (or floppy)! SBM now supports booting from floppy, harddisk and CD-ROM. ZIP and LS-120 are planned to be supported recently.Smart BootManager is totally FREE!"
I'm using it to boot the Puppy CD on several older PC's without BIOS CD Boot support. Download the program, insert a writable floppy, and run the executable to write this booting disk image to the floppy. Good Luck!
