exfat-fuse & exfat-utils

#1 Post by labbe5 »

If you are a Upup user, you should be able to install exfat-fuse and exfat-utils from repository to mount devices formatted with exFAT, for example an SD card with a capacity exceeding 32GB.

But if these utilities are already installed, you will have no error message, such as this one : Unable to Mount 64GB Volume, and everything will be fine.

Hi, labbe5,

Do you have an URL for those utilities? Thanks.

Hi,

Or just search for "exfat" in "Puppy Package Manager".

Is there any way to intall quirky 64 without formatting my pendrive.
"L’aspect intéressant de ce système, est qu’il permet de stocker des fichiers de plus de 4 gigas, ce qui de nos jours n’est pas inutile. Son principal défaut en revanche est d’être propriétaire."
exfat would allow me to have en extented pupsave greater than 4GB, won'it :?: It's what i understand in this french spoken topic.

My question is a little bit similar to Mike Walsh's one.
