Slacko 5.7 sound issues [SOLVED because I give up]

What works, and doesn't, for you. Be specific, and please include Puppy version.

Slacko 5.7 sound issues [SOLVED because I give up]

I have a Dell Soundblaster Live! (the exclamation point means It's better) that was working fine on Precise 5.71. Switched to Slacko 5.7 and everything went wonky. Choppy sound on files on the computer, no sound on youtube. Any ideas?

Oh, I should mention that I'm using that card because digital speakers. Nice sound but a pain in the ass.

So...pmusic makes sound and mplayer doesn't? Cause that's what's going on too...

And omg do I hate pmusic...

Not only not gapless, it's like it makes the gaps even bigger?

Sorry if I seem cranky. My whole computer life crumbled to pieces this week...
