You know, normally this is where I say I've run flat out of hat-making foil... but I daresay there's a valid point here. Mom's talked to me about the Echo and we both agree that it's a little 'icky' on the "is that thing really listening to me all the time" front... oddly enough, I feel it more than she does...

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I'd rather have the "inconvenience" of pressing a button than have that overgrown black painted Pringles can eavesdrop on me constantly... that button's a feature not a bug, in my view.
