Nice pics Fossil,

I've had several boats, but no pics I'm afraid, all destroyed by overzealous bailiffs [along with everything else, but that's another story]

but there's this;

I love a bit of humour, you may have noticed?

That picture reminds me of the time I went to B&Q for a roll of carpet for the living room! What with the weight and the length - it looked as though the car was jousting all the other road users. Oddly (or luckily) enough, there wasn't a bobbie to be seen, anywhere! :D :roll:

@Fossil

You think that's fast...

...this narrowboat was doing 55MPH on the M1, when the wheels fell off :wink:

Well, you said you liked the boating theme, & I am known for my perversity, er, I mean, humour

@Fossil,

Here's a guy, with very similar driving habits, to the M1 driver, on the narrows

Aitch,

If you think Perenjori is quiet..... I stopped off in Berkeley (Gloucestershire) last Friday. Yes, that's the High Street!
My real purpose for going down that way was the Lister-Tyndale Steam Rally, held in the meadows below historic Berkeley Castle. Talk about steaming passion! If anyone likes steam engines, tractors, old vehicles of all descriptions, that was the place to be.
'Boys' with their toys.....! I took far too many photos. :)
Resizing them all has become a 'How-To' topic....

Lobster,
Thank you for my new wallpaper.

Excellent find.

I'm a sucker for cute doggy pix.
