Feel free to elaborate on that. I'm afraid I'm feeling a little simple right now.

Lowtech will probably set up in a more professional forum, with veteran
moderators, and larger internet presence.

I prepared a meal of rabbit hindquarters once, breaded, seared, and simmered for a couple hours in a cream-of-mushroom soup, with onions
and a little garlic. The kids thought the drumsticks were weird looking
But ate them like starving pigs.

@artifus: That sounds very zen.

However, I will continue to think about whether or not I still want to be here. Yes, it gives me something to do during the week. Quite honestly, though, if I want my hands as dirty as this thread, well... there's the local chicken plant for that.

you have a better solution for dealing with this problem, or just enjoying the show? there are human beings behind all this, you know. human beings with thoughts and feelings just like you.

There are no "author rights" whatsoever in here

He distributed it without restrictions. Free to redistribute.

No author rights claimed, should it even be possible, not even after somebody was "calling names" at him.

Moreover here they build puppy upon puppy, include each others utils, scripts etc.

What about his "Elite OS" based on Puppy ?; that might be a cause for a legal call or somethingy.

:D Hello,
Well, I cooled off, and went ahead and D/L the 3.3-rt ISO..
I`m posting from it now...
I gotta say...Good work LowTech....
Well integrated, Jack works great OOTB, latency is 0, Everything works...
Some are demo versions, with 24 of 30 days used up..LOL...
Tweaked from init, to GUI`s, to shutdown, you obviously put a lot of time into it....
Like I said B4, IDK what the beef was, or why, and I dont care...
Until you attacked EZ, I was on your side....
But to attack his work, call someone else a "douche"....
IDK, but I like a friendly atmosphere....

Well, it aint the first time an @#$% did good work..
I`m keepin it..LOL...
Maybe I`ll tweak it a bit, and re-release it as
"The Puppy Linux Community Audio Studio"
Gotta love that GPL....
Play nice now........

Is he not worthy of the respect somehow that we should at least choose to let it go when he says we should? It's his. "Because we can" =/= "because we should", let alone "because it's right".

In other words, your "justification" is as flimsy --and your greed as strong-- as the rest of them.

Hey all... I just got a copy of PuppyStudio 3.3 and am looking forward to learning how to use it. Thanks to all who have contributed to its development (and after reading the forum - I really do mean all). Anyway, I am a musician wanting to get experience with digital recording. This seemed like a good way to go. Let me ask everyone: Is there any place I can listen to work that has been done on this distribution? Thanks!

It's the pace ot the times - 'tis the music of the streets
It's the pace ot the times - an' it's RAW
- couldn't proof-listen my link - in SL6 ATM, in which, although perfect in most ways, I still haven't gotten libflashplayer to cooperate :P - hope it's ok anyway.

Used to to do a lot of cakewalkin', back in the times, (MIDI + real instruments), would this xxxxxStudio puplet do that?

Anyways, anger is a, not so subtle, feeling              :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :D :).

By the way, I did like your av's, although a wee bit annoying in the long run :P - a joke is only funny the first few times ............ :P :D.

Cheers :D :D :D :D/

If there is no 'right', human thoughts and feelings are of no value, only the law of the jungle is real.

If the owner of this website wants to delete threads and posts, thats his business, but some people believe some things, and that in particular, to be empirically wrong, and will find other places to invest their time.
