Wow, I never thought of that! I didn't myself even know that Guns'nRoses had a version of that, but I've never listed to much if anything by them.

One that surprised me, when I found out a long time ago is:

"I Will Always Love You" as sung by Whitney Houston, but actually the song is by Dolly Parton.

A more famous error is that some people think the song "Hallelujah" was written by Jeff Buckley, when of course it was written by Leonard Cohen and Jeff Buckley's is a very nice cover of the original.

They weren't a one hit band here in OZ.

Precursors to AC?DC and Flash And The Pan.

Little Stevie started using the big H...sad to see talent go downhill.
A smash hit in OZ.

As it says in the comments.
" The gapped tooth guy who sings is George Young.
He had two young brothers called Malcom and Angus... AC/DC."

Thems were the days.

Mr.Smith was inspired by

I need a shot of rhythm and blues"
in "Roll Over Beethoven" by a certain Mr.Berry -
In a Louisiana context - the state had been rather
hard hit by the Spanish Flu in 1918.

Here's another example of talent. Rather topical in the current environment:

This will bring back memories for those who reached puberty in the seventies :)

Hello all.

Do you need a pick-me-up in these confined times?
I just discovered this fabulous South African choir
singing "Higher Love" and thought of sharing
the discovery.

I hope you like it!
