Seen this thread and thought that this might be of some help to users wanting to play Minetest in Puppy Linux, I created a complete guide on installing Latest Stable or Development versions of Minetest on Puppy Slacko 5.7.0.

Great Job! I have a file somewhere with a bunch of additional add-ons. I'll try to get it into this thread.
Still crashes sometimes for me but I don't lose my spot so not a big deal.
