Hi MHHP, I didn´t find a solution to call Xfce panel menu from metacity. But found binding keys related info that could be useful:MinHundHettePerro wrote:clarf,
Many thanks for your info !
It will make my metacity learning curve less steep.
One thing I haven't found out yet, though;
Right-clicking with mouse on the backdrop is sent by Rox to window manager (if option ticked, of course), but how do I get metacity to then call xfce (or any other panel's) menu?
Have found myself right-clicking on the desktop umpteen times, expecting a menu, but getting nothing (power of habit is strong ).
Cheers /

I also found that several errors are shown in /tmp/xerrs.log after metacity starts:
Code: Select all
Window manager warning: "(null)" found in configuration database is not a valid value for mouse button modifier
Window manager warning: Could not parse font description "(null)" from GConf key /apps/metacity/general/titlebar_font
Window manager warning: 0 stored in GConf key /desktop/gnome/peripherals/mouse/cursor_size is out of range 1 to 128
