It's an old XFCE OSX style theme I repackaged for Carolina, it contains gtk 2, xfce-notify, xfce4 themes and icon set and cursors, also a couple of fonts and a wallpaper.

The sfs has a save configuration for xfce theme manager that I added too, who ever built the icon theme must of made a few errors as it don't create a icon-theme-cache without error " The generated cache was invalid."

I need to find a better OSX style theme and icon set and thin it out as not all the icons are needed, it's a bit bloated.

Increasingly becoming more minimalist
Desktop
Image
Night time shot of a black dog in a coal cellar :) No panel or desktop icons, just xorg and openbox with no wallpaper

Right click desktop
Image
... and there's access to different desktops/running programs

Left click desktop
Image
and a minimalist menu - mostly just icons only at the top level

Mouse into top left corner
Image
.. provides access to the tray (stalonetray in a auto hiding dock)

Mouse into bottom left corner
Image
and brightside launches skippy-xd where you can select to switch to a running program, or minimise or close running programs.

Left edge click
Image
A 1 pixel wide left edge margin ensures that even when a program is full screen the left and right click menus are still easily accessible

Star menu
Image
One of the menu options that I've allocated a label of '*' launches the filemanager applications (easy to find other programs not already in the menu). The £ menu entry above that is firefox launched in firejail (sandboxed).

Hello all.

I thought I would revive this nice thread about our favorite distro for the occasion!

pekwm-0.1.18rc1 has an entirely new outfit, available from here.

The scrot below represents the lad wearing DAX's SettingSun theme, reworked.

It is running on xenialPup-7.5.

The task and tray bar at the bottom is bmpanel2, with Light-T theme.

Just above, xload, with pekwm's no decor in "autoproperties" file.

At the top, two Conky panels.

In the middle, the pekwm menu and window list.

The backdrop is the well-known Elegance.jpg background, but in reverse, which gives
us nice copper tones.

Enjoy!
