By the way The Blue Screen of Death is a great idea, must find a mascot for it.

Angel of Death in Blues? (but this one is red)

Not only would I consider correcting the typo, I just did consider it. I'm not going to correct it as the wallpaper isn't mine and it simply doesn't matter to me. I don't know who made it, but if you'd like it typo-free, have at it!

sorry, i don't have a pup or pet of gkrellm. compile? no, i dont know how, but you can download a binary at

http://rpm.pbone.net/

or on this forum all you have to do is search it. there are a lot of programs available, in binary format. you have to install the unrpmdeb.pup first at

http://puppyfiles.org/dotpupsde/dotpups ... Utilities/

so pupzip can read the .rpm compressed file.

Hi all,

maybe I can contribute something to this topic. That is my newest Puppy.
It's a regular Puppy 2.16 with Enlightenment E17. I changed the Icons a little bit. Depending on the fact that the Gentoo Icons (the round ones) are not longer available (every link I found was dead) I used the green-glass icons and some round Mac-Icons. The only issue I have is that no torsmo or conky is running. They going ride away to the background and become invisible. And the build in gadgets are saying "No Temperature" and "??? Mhz".And my preferred browser (Opera) isn't running but it's not the fault of E17 , it isn't running in JWM, too. But Swiftfox is a good replacement.

And here with a different background:

And here with Swiftfox and a Menue, and sure with a different background:

I think I like this topic!!!

Ummm...I failed to backup properly and have lost my nice tarball full of gentoo icons. Anybody have this laying around? I miss those cute little round guys.

I've switched back to 1.07/JWM (USB scanner issues), but have treated myself to a new desktop, using some neat icons from ??? that were in my 2.15 installation--unnoticed until now. I even used one of them (blown up and darkened) for the background.

Image

Next I think I need to tweak JWM a little. I did the switch yesterday, but the red usage bar is starting to bug me...

Here's mine :)

Puppy 2.16.1 with a personal IceWM theme based on KDE 3.5.6, + icons and such
I spent quite a bit on that one )) i planned to make a dotpup out of it, but i don't know if it's worth it; so many icewm themes already :)

NB: any suggestions about how to achieve borderless toolbar buttons are welcome :)
