As for that gtk theme, it's "smooth-peachy-clean" forcibly taken from vector.
You got super pudgy penguins
Love 'em, so cuddly.

I was up surfing and generally farting around one night and came across it. I don't remember where I got it from, but I did not make myself. It really makes the Neon icon theme in Precise pop out. I can send it to you if you like later on tonight, if ya like.
I'm a kinda forum newbie is there a way to send you an attachment?
Thanks for digging my Color Feng Shui!!!
Sincerely,
Haut_Dawg
Edit: Nevermind, I think I figured it out??

@GustavoYz - That's cool. Can you give a little more information? What Pup are you using? What is the panel? How did you make the terminal the background? When the terminal is set as the background can you still use right click on the desktop or do you open everything in the terminal?
Not much new for me. Still on SlimPup with a new wallpaper, my new style "fb_papaya", and Conky:

@BuddhaDog: Glad you like it.
Is not the background itself, I just launch it at startup with the right "geometry" (set it on Xdefaults) and make it translucent by 100% with tint and background white (wont work fully with any other colors, although will be very translucent).
I used
my silly script to start the terminal, like this:
As it have the additional settings for urxvt that I use -and don't remind-.
Takes some silly .Xdefaults setup to make the terminal border-less (I use `whaw` if some re-dimension/tiling if needed).
I can launch web/man pages with middle clicks, but I use dmenu and/or OpenShot keybingdings for applications. Panel up there is tint and conky on the lower edge of screen.
Im using latest Slacko.
One more... nothing new besides wallpaper, actually.

@Haut_dawg - You could try installing the Fluxbox .pet from here:
http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=81317
This will give you transparency in the menus. I run it by typing "startx fluxbox". Then you just go on "modding" from there. If you try it and have any questions I'll do my best to help.

@ Haut_Dawg - Just posting to also give me regards - love that desktop setup with the Precise Puppy icons and that background....it all really melds together so well, and I'm a big fan of "dark" themes with high contrast icons/text, so I LOVE it!

Thank you, BuddhaDog. I installed it. Now its a matter of finding the missing libs. It seems to be a common occurrence in various Puppies. Is there in easier way to locate these?
@darkstrike I agree. I wish I could make everything dark. When I first booted up Precise that super-white default wallpaper, it blew my eyes out. The Neon icons are awesome though. I wish they could cast a neon glow against the desktop. THAT would rule.

@ Haut_dawg - I didn't experience any missing libs when I installed it. There is a .pet of libs on here somewhere I'll see if I can locate it then I'll update this post.
I found it:

Discussion is here:

Hope that helps.

libpthread-stubs.so.0 seems to be the problem. I downloaded that libs w links tar.. still no luck. I searched on the net for it. I found some references for a patch. I'll keep trying. Thank you for helping out.

Nothing fancy, but the current dark/blue theme I've got set up on my IBM NetVista tinker box. I aim to do some more tweaking for a nicer look this weekend
still having problem getting Fluxbox to work

Hmm, I think at this point I'm gonna get that new Precise update that just came out yesterday. Maybe the problem might be fixed. Also it might be a file system problem cause I formatted my drive for ext4 with a frugal install. And I may also install Saluki too, cause I put it on my friends eeepc and it works like a champ (xcfe looks tasty..) I hope Saluki supports PAE. Anywho, I'm aiming for that slick black look that BuddhaDog had on his Slimpup.
@darkstrike I like yours too.

I'm trying to use a new approach now. I came across this site
http://lucky13linux.wordpress.com/2008/ ... jwm-theme/
I'm trying to copy and paste a new theme for jwm.
I get this error message. What I'm I doing wrong?
