You don't have permission to access /ttuuxxx/Dpup/SFS/dpup_devx_476d.sfs on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

But the iso did dl in 24 seconds so tubeguys is the iso too big for you to dl on that line something. Or you need the dev part most likely?
Failed at work too.
Can't get the devx here either......I'm sure ttuuxxx will fix the link problem soon.

Hi ttuuxxx

Yeah it's a universal problem with certain servers and sfs files, they change the permissions! When uploading an sfs I have had that issue many times, I've gotten used to checking sfs when I upload now. I believe jemimah has had the same issues.

Cheers

That would be the older kernel. You'll probably find that sata is unsupported too. I think at the time gposil was toying with the idea of 2.6.27.4 as the dpup retro kernel.

Thank you, at least I know it's not me. So is it ext2 only or is ext3 OK?

Hi tubeguy the reason why your ext4 isn't working is that this kernel was compiled in 2009 when ext4 wasn't part of puppy and when it was introduced later on, ext4 was really buggy, I still never used ext4 yet, well it would be useless for testing older puppy versions, like 2,3,and most of 4 series.

No sweat, I'll open up some space for ext2 partition.

Thanks for testing :)
the reason why that is missing is because I updated during the backend gtk update libltdl.so.7.3.0 or libltdl.so.7 was installed.
Probably a system link would make it work, but I'll compile the latest, like same with the missing lib in abiword, I'll just compile both packages and update it to the next release.

with both browsers installed Htop shows 42 MB of ram used at bootup, but when I only had 1 installed it was 36MB.
I like the low resources thing, probably the reason why I'm taking this project further than first anticipated.

kind of but, in my outside world, my wife is 40 weeks pregnant and her due date is today, but when she went to the doctors they said the baby's not engaged yet and that she'll have a C-section next wednesday. They estimate the baby at 4KG.

Hi ttuuxxx,

I had no problem running dpup-484 on an ext4 partition formatted with dpup's gparted. I ran both a full hd installation and a frugal installation with journaled 3fs save file. Gposil was one of the earliest supporters of an ext4 file system. Please don't drop dpup support of ext4 partitions.

Cheers,
Jim

Hi Jim this version was based before 484, it was the 476. I don't think it had ext4 added to it. Here's a list of Gparted features.
