How to run Yahoo Messenger 9 in Wine

Hello,

I tried Yahoo messenger 10 using wine 1.1.32.

I replaced dlls,and used Web installer of ym10.

Everything went, and logged in successfully.

The problem is, When i type something, I don't see anything. same goes, if someone sends a message, I don't see anything.

Any help?

Apologies for the thread hijack, but there is a native client for Yahoo for Linux. http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 882#360882

The only thing I am uncertain of is if the webcam works.

Yeah, I know about gyachi.

I was just trying to make it work using wine.

Webcam will run on Gyachi provided you have libjasper properly installed.

Never had any luck running YM on wine. (sigh)

libjasper? That's jpeg2000. I thought that was only needed for avatars etc.
