hi muggins,

did you try to 'rebuild' a puppy-iso?

mikeb and i both have tried and failed (sometimes).

rebuild in this case means:

- open puppy-iso
- delete pup_412.sfs (e.g.)
- insert new pup_412.sfs
- save the new iso

if i remember right, isomaster complains about the header?!?

cheers
aragon

p.s: one should directly report bugs. i tried to reproduce but failed although i got this fault for a few times before.

Hello Aragon,

no I haven't tried using isomaster for this...I've only used it for extracting stuff from an .iso. Whenever I've created a modified .iso, I've used the commandline.

But, following your info, I'll try it also...although from your experience it doesn't look promising!

Hello...any news on whether or not this works?

I have been coming across a bug recently which has meant I have not been able to add files to the 4.2 boot cd. Im about to test the command line methods (not ideal).

My bug report (with the error messages Im getting) is here
