Yeah, it was just a cold. I rarely get sick nowadays. I don't even remember the last time I worshiped the porcelain god. It was at least seven years ago.

I did manage to get the bulk of what I wanted done with Pebble before my deadline, so that's not an issue anymore. I just need to scrounge up some time to add the finishing touches, package it, document it, and get it uploaded. Also, now it will automatically notice when there is no frame buffer and set the $NOSPLASH variable itself. Meaning when people leave off the vga=785 and forget to also add a pfix=nosplash option, it won't crash anymore. Good stuff. :)

ttuuxxx you're an oldie, too? ;)
I loved to play Phoenix as youngster in hollidays.
It made me really poor, cause you had to pay one Deutsche Mark for only some minutes of joy
There certainly will be an emulator-version available.
But I will not play that, meanwhile I prefer quake and such... unfortunately I have no more time to play.

Ups, sorry for offtopic...

Pebble 1.0 BETA:
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?p=174223

I managed to get it running in 2.14, 2.14R, 3.00, and 3.01. I also included files for 3.02 in the dev package, but I didn't test those (I haven't even installed 3.02 yet).

If you want to also use the syslinux stuff I did earlier, there is an overlap in the /usr/sbin/puppyinstaller file. Use the one from the syslinux package from the xxx_peb/ directory.

When I think of "Phoenix" and video games, good old Fenix from Starcraft is the first guy I think of.
