C'est dommage.

Lexmark has another scanner driver that they claim works with wifi. But it does not list your S305 as a compatible model.

So there is nothing else to try.
Merci de ton aide,
Arefacti :D

NB : toutefois, sur d'autres distributions, leur programme d'installation arrive à faire fonctionner ce scanner. Je me disais qu'il était possible d'en extraire quelque chose : mais je ne suis pas assez fort.

Linux : http://support.lexmark.com/index?segmen ... age=null#1 (sorry, it's in French).

And seems to me that Ubuntu now get is own driver for it (I must verified it)

Edit : I verified on my wife's PC : works fine without cable.

The lexmark_scan_legacy-1.1.1.pet above is made from Lexmark's own Debian package. It works with my Pro905 as USB, but NOT when networked.

So I ran Ubuntu 10.10 and installed the Lexmark Debian package. It WORKED in Simple Scan when networked! But it was very slow.

So I went back to Puppy and installed Simple Scan. It did NOT work when networked.

So there is something slightly different about Ubuntu that makes this driver work.
