dawsnboy- a symlink will fix it, for now, ln -s /usr/lib/libpoppler-glib.so.6.0.0 /usr/lib/libpoppler-glib.so.4. That's a stop gap measure, needs a epdfviewer recompile
Yeah I already did that and it worked of course.

spup_devx_120/usr/man has 1MB of git man pages, just a waste of space.
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/icon-theme.cache can be deleted from the devx, since the iso contains one already

when I opened rxvt I had a message
"bash: warning: setlocale: LC_COLLATE: cannot change locale (en_US): No such file or directory"
just made the devx.pet so now I'm fault troubleshooting/testing it

ttuuxxx, couple of libs missing in devx, on previous page but you may have missed it , libelf, libmpc, cxxlibs.. they are in PPM

can't find the libmpc, cxxlibs,libgmp,libmpfr in ppm

ttuuxxx, I just checked, pasting those libs into PPM searchbox and they show up, they're in the main slackware repo, but don't show because they are building blocks. That category should still be there IMO, Barry enabled "all" for wary/quirky only, doesn't work with others as it's way too slow.

Xchat is in the wrong menu, it can be found under network, where it should be under Internet, maybe just change/update the .desktop

All of the radeon drivers loaded. Looks fine. We are supposed to wait for glx/dri?
That is not your (i.e Spup) Menu -> Setup -> Video Setup Wizard is it?
I love the Audio control to set the default audio card. That is very useful if you have more than one because very few programs allow you to say which audio card they should send the sound to--they just assume default..

The sound wizard is kirk's, Barry has it in woof now by default.

Here's the latest Transmission with static libevent
I also added an item to mailcap and added it to rox mimes-types, so its fully configured to open torrents either when the browser ask you to open with? or save the torrent, and open it by clicking on it.

And if you want to add a static libevent to the devx, here's the static one I compiled. Its not needed to run transmission, only to compile it.
But its usefull for other apps.

I was attempting to test a full install of 120 but......... Gparted failed.
I deleted the existing partitions and swap but when trying to create new partitions the filesystem choices were greyed out.
Using a Lucid disc at the moment to partition the drive........successfully completed.
Back in a few, let's see if a full install with Grub works.
EDIT:
Grub did not work either. Clicking "simple" led instead to the "expert" menu which was stuck in a loop. Used Grub4dos and booted into the full install of 120.
No wallpaper, gray background with dreaded red/white triangles instead of icons.
EDIT 2:
Just to be certain I tried a full install again, same result.

Do you have a file list of what files/versions were installed on slackware13.37 , That would be very handy when compiling, so I could easily match the dep versions.

If you look in /root/.packages you'll see Packages-slackware-13.37-official, plus the salix version and the spup version, plus there are some quirky libs that need upgrading. Ypu can cross reference with /root/.packages/woof-installed-packages.
Woof reads these files to build the distro and PPM reads them for the PPM.
Hope that's got what you need, should have

The problems in spup-100 with the Samba client package have been resolved in spup-120. You can now connect to a Windows shared printer.

Just did a frugal install of 120 with the installer.....no problems.I even have wallpaper and icons this time.
Sound, internet and display all good.
EDIT:
Need to reset the time every reboot but the timezone stays correct.
