Wary's users will have to do with version 4.4, but they will take advantage of included media-players playing their DVDs... if the cd player is not broken.. Unfortunately our old laptops have some breakdowns, after years playing CDs or DVDs in the children beds.

A waveform plugin for the DeaDBeeF audio player. It shows a waveform of the currently playing track in the main window, and is very much inspired by SoundCloud
Pequalizer works only with Pmusic..

True !
it does not do better than default media player included in Puppy Linux, just some MBs . Lot of Jukeboxes are prettier, with audio at least as good.
None of them can deal with Dolby
