How does one uninstall roxrightclicks? Using the package manager removes it fine, but leaves errors in the Rox menu.

Thank you esmourgit, added for next release.

@Dave
you need to delete all the hidden directories inside /root/.config/rox.sourceforge.net/OpenWith/
Your OpenWith menu should now be empty. If you want the old options back you can extract them back out of your pup_412.sfs file by clicking on it and then navigating to /mnt/?????????/root/.config/rox.sourceforge.net/OpenWith/ and copying them across

Bonjour,
@ Hairywill,
Seems the localization doesn't work.

You need to rerun roxroghtclicks after setting your locale. Click on /root/my-roxapps/Rox-Right-Clicks. Unfortunately I cannot think of an easy way of bypassing this. If you wish to redistribute these links they are in hidden directories in /root/.config/rox.sourceforge.net/OpenWith/
thanks for the feedback

Hi, Insomniacno1.

In answer to your questions --

-- don570 has brought this right-clicks project from HairyWill to the next level :)
http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic. ... 42&t=67013

-- rox with drive names in the left pane... very good joke, really!
But there's no need to reinvent the four-hole shirt button, is there?! :) Try:
muCommander http://www.mucommander.com
OR
XFE http://roland65.free.fr/xfe/index.php?page=screenshots
(among others)

Best regards.

If you upgrade gtkdialog to the latest then you can run the latest
right clicks package on Wary 5.5. I'm fairly certain of that fact.

Check which version of gtkdialog you have
version .0.8.3 is fine

Code: Select all

gtkdialog -v
Then run the latest right clicks utility package

which is available here
