Can you please provide in RTF or a format abiword recognizes
- or is this not possible?

For editing it, I'd prefer to stick to vector graphics such as ODG or SVG which can be opened in Inkscape (see attached). Raster graphics (PNG) is provided for casual web users who only want to look at it. I could perhaps consider supplying in GEDCOM though.

Thanks

Thanks, darelljon, much obliged. OOo is a bit much for my smaller machines.

I, too, would like to make a plea to developers to make a little more info about their Puppy versions available
I have been using this online mind-mapping facility
http://www.mindomo.com/

which would be ideal for updates to the chart in the first post

You can see an example here
http://tmxxine.com/wik/wikka.php?wakka=LinuxTmxxine10

that would be fun project if anyone is up for it :)
This appeals but the only decent formats it exports to are closed formats. Why no SVG?

try this
http://www.mindmeister.com/

output is free in rtf / pdf

freemind format (payed version) - maybe someone can sponser a Puppymeister? 8)

- available in Puppy and displayable on wiki

example for tmxxine
http://www.mindmeister.com/maps/show/78004

for a short time I have directly embedded an example into a wikka wiki
http://tmxxine.com/wik/wikka.php?wakka= ... xxineShard

8)

Notes
The supposed pdf output was gibberish (maybe others will have more luck?)
The output to RTF (which is viewable in Abiword) is shown below :)
Tmxxine
Distro for Open Source Time Travel. Featuring Rapid Deployment using remastering. 100% Puppy Linux Compatible
Prism
Large set of included programs, including Open Office
Rainbow
Our first usable Tmxxine. Made use of Ezpup to provide 'Black rainbow' wallpaper with 'Vista' type theme as default
Photon
A programmers version. Not recommended for general use. I would place as Alpha status. Contains Java, Net-Logo and Python as well as the C, C++ and assembler development system
Vision
ISO which adds YAP (YinYana Alter Progrm) to startup. This is a Buddhist Practice (mostly Tantric) program for running a meditation practice and virtual shrine. The ISO is based on Puppy NOP which runs Xfce as its default interface and Opera as its browser
Shard
2.17
Recommended ISO for daily use. Features Xara, Kompozer and Gimpshop on top of Puppy 2.17 with Tmxxine theme
3.01
Uses NOP (which is based on Puppy 3.01) and contains Opera browser, Xara, Gimp and NVU. I prefer the earlier 2.17 base which uses Ezpup (uses the IceWM window manager interface)
Glint
Suggested Tmxxine Online Services Web page of bookmarks

Nice work.

Office Pup (NOP) 3.01 comes from Puppy 3.01

Incorrect:
No such thing as Pizzapup 2.14

Missing:
Puppy 1.0.1
Pizzapup 1.0.1
Empty Crust 1.0.7
Pizzapup 3.0 (based on 2.12)
Pizzapup 3.0.1 (based on 2.14)
pcPuppyOS (based on 3.01)

That covers everything I've done.

Also, I'm nearly certain that Grafpup 2 was not based on 2.15. If anything it would have been based on one of Barry's releases rather than a CE, and one earlier than 2.15 at that. Either that, or it was based on Grafpup 1.xx. I don't remember anymore.

Speaking of 2.15, that was actually 2.15CE, and 1.0.9 was actually 1.0.9CE. Technicalities...
