I throw the old iso away after applying the delta - so I've only got the 2.1.1 iso now - any chance of a 2.1.1 to 2.2 delta??

Thanks
peebee

THANK YOU....

Let me know if the download has any problems.
Cheers

EDIT: deleted because of a bug in the initrd (read below)

That is the correct md5, the first post has a link to all the md5sums.

I've deleted the v2.2 delta's due to a typo in the DISTRO_SPECS in the initrd.gz that's causing it to not find the puppy_xprecise_5.7.1.sfs. I'll re-upload a delta later today. In the mean time, you can dl the fixed initrd.gz from here http://carolina-linux.com/rg66/X-precise/initrd.gz or dl the DISTRO_SPECS below and edit the initrd.gz and replace it.

Here are a couple of things that can be done, geany don't show the correct color scheme, copy this filetypes.sh to /usr/share/geany/, the editor text will then show the same as in previous geany versions.

Add xfce4-volumed /root/Startup/ then the volume control will have a on screen notification when the volume is changed

Oh you did the initrd Rod, cool

vicmz upload ISO small error.

The ISO file contains puppy_xprecise_5.7.1.sfs
The installation procedure call: puppy_precise_5.7.1.sfs
It can easily be repaired, but pay attention to it!

Apart from that nice work, puplet still love it,

The ISO file I uploaded was generated with one of those deltas, so I'll have to delete it. I'll re-upload later to keep helping a little bit.

EDIT:

Thanks for confirming this issue.

I want to use a keyboard language layout switcher and add it to the panel but I have no idea how to do this.I ve downloaded xxkb_1.11 from the PPM but nothing happens. In puppy precise 5.7.1 was too easy to do this.
But I like very much the xfce and since I want to use 3 languages to write(English,Greek and Russian) it would be great if anybody can help me to sort this problem out.
Thank you in advance.

Yes, the v2.2-non-pae ISO and v2.1.1-non-pae > v2.2-non-pae delta have been uploaded here

Many thanks to vicmz and ally for hosting the pae ISO, I'll upload it eventually.

I tried and failed to compile the Xfce keyboard plugin to switch layout.

The only thing I could say to try is to go to /usr/share/applications and open mouse/keyboard wizard in geany and change NoDisplay=true to NoDisplay=false, it will show up in Control Panel under system. You could also change Categories=X-Setup-wizard to Categories=System to have it in the apps menu.

You could also make a launcher on the panel to launch it without editing the .desktop file, use input-wizard as the exec.

Thank you very much.I did what you said to me and now I use the layouts I want and I even have a language indicator with the flags on my panel. You did a great job.
