2013 keep it but install with newest drivers
I dont connect internet. But dont change the KDE version. The oldest are the best (431-KDE-Slax 02 and Legacy os)
I have intalle it on the fly on LXPUP 1301 . XWIN STARTKDE and everything is ok.
The way to do things : use a normal Puppy and add only KDE tools which are different. No need of K-Office.Yr puppy will keep lighter.

Hi, KDE 3.5 is still alive and maintened on a project named Trinity
see here and you can download "nowadays" distribution with Trinity desktop embedded
Ubuntu Precise 12.04 LTS with Trinity is great for all people whom never get used to these new plasma and activities things
I agree, a Puppy v5.5 with KDE 3.5 would be awesome but an expert needs to tell if it's best with Trinity or Slax-kde... Anyway, go for non-PAE please. What do you think about it Pri ?
Best regards

Text in French, does not matter ?
titles, headings, tables figures, all that is in the template.
Hum.. You need Kde to read it (with Kwrite) !
Slax kde is better, sure !

Slax is a light distro, with light KDE, and that is good for Puppy.
Puppy has to keep itself different from Ubuntu and Kubuntu, in my opinion.
Ubuntu is installed in my computer. I quite never use it. If Puppy becomes an UBUNTU (or Kubuntu) repository, i will be a so lonesome guy.
Slax-kde
431-KDE-Slax 02 won't shutdown

If Puppy becomes like Ubuntu, this version would be long gone from the repository.
