2013 keep it but install with newest drivers
I dont connect internet. But dont change the KDE version. The oldest are the best (431-KDE-Slax 02 and Legacy os)
I have intalle it on the fly on LXPUP 1301 . XWIN STARTKDE and everything is ok.

The way to do things : use a normal Puppy and add only KDE tools which are different. No need of K-Office.Yr puppy will keep lighter.

Hi, KDE 3.5 is still alive and maintened on a project named Trinity see here and you can download "nowadays" distribution with Trinity desktop embedded :-) Ubuntu Precise 12.04 LTS with Trinity is great for all people whom never get used to these new plasma and activities things :-)

I agree, a Puppy v5.5 with KDE 3.5 would be awesome but an expert needs to tell if it's best with Trinity or Slax-kde... Anyway, go for non-PAE please. What do you think about it Pri ? :-)

Best regards

Text in French, does not matter ?
titles, headings, tables figures, all that is in the template.
Hum.. You need Kde to read it (with Kwrite) !

Slax kde is better, sure !

Slax is a light distro, with light KDE, and that is good for Puppy.
Puppy has to keep itself different from Ubuntu and Kubuntu, in my opinion.
Ubuntu is installed in my computer. I quite never use it. If Puppy becomes an UBUNTU (or Kubuntu) repository, i will be a so lonesome guy.
Slax-kde

If Puppy becomes like Ubuntu, this version would be long gone from the repository.
