Nancy,

modified for lupu.

N.B. the only reason why it wouldn't launch with lupu, was the symlink, /usr/lib/libtiff.so.4, was pointing to a different version

Interesting program, never came across it before, is there anything about this that makes it better than say duff (which I use), of fdupes, aside from the gui.

DPUP5520,

never having used the app, I can't comment. It's been years since I last used a dup finder(commandline), and I can't recall which one it was. Does duff come with a delete option?

@muggins

Yes it does have an option for deleting files as does fdupes, and fslint (another awsome dupe finder with a gui)

Tried it out, liked it, present an alternate version, still has gui in utility along with the cli by tying dupf into terminal, don't mean to be stepping on your toes muggins. Also no lib in here as I made the pet from the binary release and not from source.
