Printing pdf with diacritics in Puppy
Re: Printing pdf with diacritics in Puppy
No reply? I guess it wasn't that important.nick21 wrote:Please, can somebody help me?
Let's start:
1.Puppy 5.7.1
2.Brother DCP-T300
3.debbi-1.3pet / dcpt300cupswrapper-3.0.2-0.i386.deb / dcpt300lpr-3.0.2-0.i386.deb (from Brother support)
4.pdf
5.file.pdf - original file (it is in archive.tar.gz)
out.pdf - scan of printout pdf (it is in archive.tar.gz)
A very strange thing is: I print same file (file.pdf) for the second time and is very well. I can not explain why? Please, compare the two files in the arhive.tar.gz.
I try attach arhive.tar.gz, but unfortunately, it's not possible, why?

I did a quick test with Slacko 5.6 and an HP laser printer. I used PeasyPDF as the printing app.
It printed correctly. The characters with diacritics were all there.
I then set up Precise 5.71 with a Brother MFC-J470. It also printed correctly.
I then printed it through Precise's own PDF app. That worked too.
Have you installed any different fonts or selected a different language? I wonder if that might be the problem.
