We looked at this during the development of CamPhoneTab. We were able to access the photos in an iDevice, but not the iTunes music.

Yes you can sync iPod music in Puppy, for all iPod models except those made after 2011 - which means the Nano 7th gen and iPod-Touch 5th gen are no-go.
You need gtkpod -
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=94022

The installation package(s) I provided at that link are compatible with older versions of Puppy - Slacko 5.7, Puppy Precise 5.7 and Tahrpup 6. They might work in more modern Puppies, I'm not sure.

It might be nice to have a newly compiled version of gtkpod for modern Puppies, but I don't have time to play with Linux these days.
If anyone else wants to do so, I warn that if you want to configure full iPhone/iPad/iPod-Touch support, there's an extensive array of library dependencies which also need to be compiled, including libimobiledevice, libplist, usbmuxd, and ifuse.

Great. Commendable.
Meanwhile, this information has invoked stunned silence from the OP.
