Thanks, this is a great idea! I once did a course on how to use an internet search engine, but I have to admit I've got lazy recently and just type the word I want to search for into either google or duckduckgo and then hope for the best.
In my view there's also something to be said for metasearch engines such as dogpile, which combine the searching power of several individual search engines into one composite one.
